I asked if I could have a phone call by 3.00pm as to whether the car would be ready . I got a message about the tyres but not whether the car was ready --- I phoned in the afternoon and after about 40mins of trying to find out I gave up.

Thought that 2 1/2 hours to carry out a "simple" service was a bit too long.

Five star service received at dealership
Everything went well, no complaints.
Drop off was painless. However, when I came to collect I had to wait a long time. I had two children with me (1 year old and 5 year old), so sitting waiting patiently isnt their thing! Service advisors didnt look busy either.
The general service of the car was fine, however on the last 3 occasions I've asked for the squeaky brakes to be rectified and each time was told it had been done. Whilst there has been a slight improvement this is not the case, really not impressed.

The waiting area is being worked on at the moment but its still very relaxing, and the coffee is fabulous.

Car is still faulty and they are sticking with finding the fault. The agent has twice collected the car late in the evening and delivered a loan car. No suggestion that after the first failed attempt at fixing the issue I should drop the car back.
As above. They spent a whole day to replace a tire and did not fix anything else...

Everything was easy from drop off to pick up, I'm made to feel that nothing is too much trouble and my business is valued. The staff are professional, welcoming and attentive, and the whole experience proceeds smoothly.
No real issues other than a specific request not being passed on but that's a minor point.

Although it took awhile for work to commence on the car, once started it was completed speedily and below estimated cost
I have visited Specialist Cars and rely on them for effective support of my fairly elderly and high mileage car. This involves a significant journey (.20 miles) and train journeys to achieve but the trains are met by arrangement and this works.
I like the fact that you offer car wash after MOT! This is the posetive point for me. Only down side this time was that they not update the mot date on my car computer were it shows the service information.

I was satisfied with the service I received. The staff I dealt with at BMW Stevenage during the three times my vehicle was at this service department while the fault was being identified were friendly, helpful and extremely professional.

Car not cleaned very well, wasn't that dirty to start with and reported fault wasn't commented upon (battery not charging past 55%). No feedback at all.
They kindly said that I could have a loan car so I was booked in and they said they opened at 7, I said I would be there between 7 and 7:15. When I got there they said the loan cars would not be available until 8! Why tell me you open at 7!!

The receptionist & driver both very good but the case handler basically just processed the paperwork. Personal touch missing. I was also quoted £318 for each of two tyres, identical ones of which I readily obtained elsewhere for £75 less per tyre.

Sound quality of technicians voice on service video not clear
I recently dropped my vehicle in for an MoT which required a replacement front light which cost me over £400.I have always had Servicing and Maintenance works carried out by Spec Cars Stevenage but the cost of this work was unbelievable.
Customer service was great but-No feedback on recall items, was anything done?Car not washed or cleaned at allNo info on service sheets re brake wear %, not even clear oil had been changed
EVERYTHING WAS EXPLAINED TO ME IN DETAIL AND EVERYTHING WAS DONE AS REQUESTED.
It is by far the worst main dealer service experience I have ever had. Not enough characters remaining to list the reasons. (Note- I find it interesting that there are less characters for here than other sections. Are you fed up with hearing issues?)
Work was carried out as requested, and further safety checks all in the same day. I was informed of work that was needed and the costs.
Just a minor point , the windscreen washer bottle was cleaned out ,front washers are fine now but rear one not working , I think I can sort it though

Despite the building works the customer waiting area is comfortable and welcoming. Staff were able to accommodate service around my schedule, even offering the rum me to the station if necessary.

See above but it was not clear if it was the dealer or head office that was so resistant to accepting that my system had a fault. Eventually after months, it was agreed that this should be sorted out and the defective component replaced.

I find the staff there friendly and helpful. Since getting my car back I have found that the 'roof' of the glove box has not been replaced and it was just lying in the glove box. I have not informed Specialist Cars about this yet.

I was kept informed of the progress of the build and the expected delivery of the vehicle which met my original expectation.The staff were flexible regarding me taking delivery of the vehicle as snowy conditions were anticipated .
Overall the experience was good and Tom Dempster at Specialist Cars provided an attentive service - unfortunately on collection of the car Tom crashed his car on the way to work and so we were passed between other people at the dealership.
