Very friendly and, I feel, honest. The 2 hour service actually took more like 3 hours, which was a bit of a pain, but otherwise no problems. They also price matched two tyres which I was very pleased about.
I was pleased with the service received and the staff were very efficient. However, I received 3 (!) phone calls from 2 different people at the garage telling me my car was ready! Seems excessive as I did say that I would be in to get it shortly!

I was made to feel welcomed and at ease on my arrival. Staff were pleasant, and went through the process of my service with me.this made me feel special as was given their attention.
I gave this answer because the last time my car went in for a service I pointed out that the leather gator if that's what you call it around the hand break has worn and looked as if it was 20years old !!!I was informed that it would be replaced

Long wait to be seen both when dropping the car off and again when collecting the car.
Everything that was required to be done was done - except a courtesy vacuum clean of the estate boot area.

Great customer service, good advice, made a real effort to accommodate my needs and ensured we had a courtesy car to go on holiday.
Overall, it was timely and a lack of communication. When I called to ask what was happening, either everyone was busy or they would phone me back, which never happened. Some people were very rude.
Lack of information, car took longer than told ( 2 days longer ) with the exception on the lady on reception I found staff unprofessional.
Reported whistle on heater not sorted and creaking Windows not sorted but I have been told you will have another look as these the next time the car is in the garage.
Have been a customer for 15 years and the service has been impeccable from booking the car in, being kept updated on progress and receiving the car back clean.

The car has developed a significant vibration through the pedals which on a 3.5 hour journey started to numb my feet.
All the staff were great especially Sam on the front desk. The only detracting factor was it took two visits to rectify the issue.

When I booked my car in I requested a courtesy car, which was agreed. When I arrived to take my car in, I was told that no courtesy car had been allocated to me, which effectively left me stranded. I was offered a lift to the local train station.
The car goes in for an oil service and comes out with the horn not working. The car is booked in for investigation and I'm told it needs two new horns, £228. The car is just over 3 years old, it doesn't inspire confidence in the quality of BMW cars!
The facility was extremely clean and pleasant with prompt and friendly staff. The booking experience was simple and I received reminders about my appointment. And my car was washed and cleaned upon completion of the MOT
It took me 3 times to book the service appointment. The first 2 times, I telephoned in the morning approx 8.30 am - 9 am and the phone just rang and rang and no answer either time.
Problem with air conditioning efficiently handled.
Dropped my car off for a issue with the radiator, however I was then notified that there was also a issue with the fuel pump. I was very glad to find that BMW noticed this issue as well! The only issue was there was not a curiosity car available.

2 days after we got the car back the passenger side rear wheel was shreaded by the wheel arch under cover came off and was touching the tyre.
Staff were very helpful and friendly , everything done was explain before work commenced .
Some of the work I'd ordered was found unnecessary at that time, but other work I had not identified was required. Throughout I was kept informed and the work done expeditiously. I particularly like the video that showed the vehicle inspection.
I was totally satisfied with the technical aspects of the visit. I was disappointed that the car was returned late. I received an apology. I have also responded to a survey for this visit already and received an acknowledgement from Sue.
Communication between the customer representatives and technicians was very poor requiring me to visit Specialist Cars 3 times before the fault was fixed.
When I came to collect my car a woman was being extremely unpleasant to the staff. She admitted that she had damaged her car and as a result her warranty was invalid. Her attitude to the staff was appalling and I admired the way they dealt with her.
So impressed on the speed and amazing service I received. Friendly helpful Calm and quite simply - like no other.

The job wasn't completed. When I tried the boot again, it closed properly ie and the boot lights went out. On trying a second time the lights did not go out when the boot was closed. So the problem wasn't fixed,
had full service done on 23-8-2016 and two weeks later still ' Drivetrain' warning came on saying the car wasn't at full performance. ! didn't seem to fix the problem !!

Service ok,reception mentioned "recall"unclear tuned out to be software rebuild, 3 attempts, optimistic completion calls wasted visit. Finally asked to ensure it was diven,. Not done, Failed on way home, return car, "fixed" but still poor mpg!
Professional service as always from this dealership. Labour cost for the bulb replacement seemed expensive. I was charged much less on a previous occasion for similar work. Service rep said I was given a much reduced rate last time !
It took a few visits but the car is now perfect.

I had new front brake pads. There was a significant difference between the price given on your website, which was £169, and the price the dealer initially wanted to charge me, which was £245. I had to ask for the advertised price, which I then got.

My BMW has been serviced at Specialist Cars since 1990, I am on my 5th BMW, (my wife is on her 1st), apart from loving BMW's 50% of the reason I always choose a BMW is because of the excellent service dept and after sales care from SP Stevenage.
I brought my BMW 118 in for a routine MOT but as part of this BMW wanted to apply certain patches. If I had been made aware at the time of booking then I would have made arrangements to leave the car there to have both done same day!
The service was fine. But when I purchased the car in December and only 8000 miles ago I was told I wouldn't need to service for 20000 miles it turns out I need another one in 7000 miles costing me £400!!!

The service was fine, but the car wash (free, I know) was not. Although the car was clean, there were many drying marks left on the car, perhaps because it was a hot day and it dried more quickly than normal.

I had a routine inspection on the car due, which is covered by my active service plan, although I also needed two new front tyres and a wheel alignment. I asked BMW to quote for these services and these were £350 more expensive than a local garage.

Normal pleasant greeting but staff member dealing with me seemed to need guidance from other colleagues. When dealing with the fault,action required and cost he did not seem to have the personality that reassured the customer. Cost too much.

When I bought the car year ago I was told that the car had had full service and checks. When I take care in for checking because the cautionary light had come on for brakes I was told that the car needs a major service.

The service was good in that reception and your driver were right on the ball. The MOT was cheap and well done; the disappointment was that one of the wheels was cracked and this took a day to replace. Not SC fault but an expensive problem well done

Service is always 1st class at Specialist Cars Stevenage. I drive over an hour to get there instead going to my local dealer which is 10 minutes away.

I had a warning light on the dash when I arrived, which I flagged to a member of staff. I was told that everything was fine, only to leave and have the warning light return. After enquiring, I was told further investigation was required. Poor service

My car was booked in for a, while you wait, routine service. I was advised when I arrived that the car also required an EGRV replacement as a recall. When the service was finished I was advised that the EGR valve couldn't be replaced as the engine

Despite the frustration of the earlier service booking that had to be cancelled when I was just reaching Stevenage because of the power failure at Specialist, the service was carried out in the expected time and all went well.
I don't expect a brand new BMW to need attention from Service department. The engine fault light shouldn't have come on. It was an air seal that needed replacing, but took several days to get the part. Courtesy car provided but I wanted my new car.

First experience of BMW servicing and to be honest I expected a higher level of service, the engineer broke an item on the car which meant the car was a day late being returned. Not good enough.
