I used the car collection & return service from my workplace and it all went smoothly.
Problem all sorted under warranty but I was without the car for one more day than I originally anticipated.
I was given a definite price for the new tyre I needed then at payment the price was altered for no reason - same tyre same fittings etc I questioned this and price returned to original
all good, but car was damaged by engineer when driven out of the garaga

Would have been completely satisfied but for length of wait in service reception. This was further extended as my curtesy car had been assigned to someone else and anorher had to be located.
Warranty work not completed on first visit, lack of contact regarding progress on both visits meant that I had to make contact several times which is not good enough.
Camera at the rear does not work 2nd time in and offered courtesy car, waited for the lady to find the car and then told it has no fuel and can I find a station!Left after 50 mins wait just to drop my car off!
Ease of booking. Carolyn was brilliant and very efficient sorting out issues I had with my maintenance book. Sorted out a service plan and always rang back when she said she would. An excellent ambassador for BMW Stevenage .
Not all the work was carried out
Very happy with customer service and technical feedback.
I was able to drop the car early and pick it up at the agreed time. All the service was done and my questions answered fully.

Now on my 4th BMW I have only used Specialist Cars for Service & advice. In my view the key to an excellent Dealership is to make as many aspects as possible a pleasurable experience.
Everything was done very well
Together with the service, I asked for a rattle to be investigated and for a quotation for two minor bodywork repairs. Service and rattle were completed and I was informed by Ian in service that quote would be posted direct from body shop.
Whoever cleaned the car must of done it with a dirty rag as the windscreen was smeared so much I couldn't see had to drive to the hand car wash to have the car cleaned again. Since the service a number of buttons aren't working .

Service couldn't be completed on the day due to missing parts & I had to return to the garage the next day. A lady called to conduct a satisfaction survey, when I explained the above she said the Service Mgr would call me, which they haven't done yet

Helped at late notice
I was without my car for over a week. I was not offered a replacement car, and as the car was not reported on for over two days, my warranty entitlement for this was missed.
I booked my car in for the automatic headlamp washer jets to be repaired. Despite booking in for both to be repaired only 1 was ordered meaning that the car had to be kept in for 2 days for what should have been a simple repair.
Competent, professional staff. They were also very helpful and respectful to me as a customer. Something that is sorely absent at other BMW dealers.. Well done Specialist Cars.
I was told the service would take 90 minutes but in fact took 2 hours - disappointing. Expensive for an oil and micro filter change & MOT.
Fab service gave one star less as had my car literally the whole day for an mor and had to call twice to ask what was happening
Customer experience @ BMW Stevenage (Wendy Lee) was outstanding!! Completely made the difference ref the sale. Professional, knowledgeable and personable. (Porsche and Jaguar terrible by comparison)
Fault with passenger seat belt (not retracting properly so constant rattle until I rectify it manually after each use by passenger) listed as corrected by Specialist Cars but it is worse than before. Also, car says next service due in 3500 miles.

For incompetence and inability to diagnose and rectify the fault. Your trial and error rectification process was going to cost me £1,750.00 and in the end there was no reassurance that the fault was going to be repaired
I was Very happy with everything from booking right up to waiting to be handed the keys back. Car cleaner dropped the car at the front but I was then left waiting 30 minutes to be given the keys ? I was told it was being cleaned but I could see it?
Made to feel welcome. Kept informed. Offered refreshments.

My car was collected FOC. I had a call to say my two rear tyres were worn and did I require new tyres on the rear. I had the tyres replaced. The car was bought back and had been cleaned both inside and out to showroom standard and is running perfectl
Despite an indifferent start, the overall experience was very good.
I had to phone at the end of the day to see is the service was completed. The car had only been washed on the outside. Carpets were still dirty.

Fault hasn't been completely rectified, it reappeared a day after collecting car. Rebooking has been difficult, and a I left message for the salesman to assist with a loan car (if possible) but my call has not been returned. This was over a week ago.
The radio replacement seems to be working correctly so far. But the Sat/Nav needed an authorisation code. This should have been done without me having to ask for it. This was fixed the next day by the technician coming to my home.
Fantastic service from BMW, my car was looked at by an Engineer named Paul and he has done a fantastic job couldn't be happier.

Because of the time frame. Work was good but I was told it would take an hour and ended up being 2. This caused me to nearly miss a train.
I had some small change taken from my storage tray. I have reported this to Specialist cars at the time and also in a phone survey.

Expensive new tyre for my 430i convertible - however, the service fails to meet my expection and my needs.
Arrived as per my booking and at no time was I advised the MOT booking was running late. My car was taken in 30 minutes after my agreed booking time. I received no apology or explanation why there was a delay.Someone should have called be before.
The sales team and shows room staff are always on hand to answer my questions.

The problem, not straight forward, was resolved satisfactorily and I was particularly pleased with the way I was kept informed.
It was generally ok. There were a couple of things that could have been better. The garage is out of the way via public transport so I had to get someone else to come with me. A courtesy car would be great.

I had to bring the car back to the workshop twice to rectify issues with the work carried out.There is a specific problem with the vehicle that the workshop is unable to identify whilst agreeing that there is an underlying problem.

I was informed I had a service package on the car but no one ever told me there was a cap. I brought my car for a service and a gentleman called me to tell me it would be £267 i was not advised by the service team previously.

Good overall service, but failed to inflate tyres as requested beforehand. Service clerk did not inform me about results of complimentary vehicle check until I asked.
I'd like to be able to just hand over the key and go rather than wait to see an adviser.
I did ask for my BMW representative to see if suggested work on the steering would be covered by my extended warranty. He agreed to phone the insurer and to let me know. After 2 weeks I have heard nothing back.
I had to return the next day to have the work done - I waited for over two hours while some fluid was added to my washer tank and the blade on the rear windscreen washer was changed - the car was cleaned also.
Had to wait 20 minutes in reception on the Saturday afternoon to collect the car
My glove compartment was brocken- I left the car for the day and on my return was told it needed a whole new compartment which was ordered but not available so could be fitted the next day - a phone call would have saved the journey and the return
Apart from the first service required I had noticed a strange noise from my front wheels when reversing on full lock - this was not resolved. Also a 2cm scratch appeared on my front wing which was communicated by phone

My car was very slightly damaged - just the bumper - in the workshop. This was repaired in a timely fashion and the team dealt with the situation very well
our car was not cleaned, inside or out, not the end of the world but would expect it to have been as paying for a premium car should ensure this. The actual service was greta as normal though
New ABS unit fitted. Driving back home I felt the brake pedal spongy. I informed the service dept. that I would see if the problem went away over the weekend, it did not. Consequently I had to visit the service dept. again.
Having only had my new car for 2 weeks and with the issue seemingly insignificant, I felt rather foolish raising it at all expecting to be told that there was nothing wrong. Instead I was treated with respect, understanding & the issue was resolved.
Everything ok except I had to rebook the car in for the fitting of 2 exhaust connections that were not in stock. I had advised the service guy previously that this work was required.

I have booked a Service for MOT and did indicate that there is a warning for Service. They promised to look into every thing using the Key reader. I now drive back the car home and realise that there is another service due in next 400 miles. Bad.

Re: CT03 DOM. My son booked the car in for a full service and to have 2 tyres replaced and another deflating tyre investigated. On collection only the service had been carried out which meant he had to take the car back to have the tyres replaced.
car was received back without being valeted after having a burnt out clutch after 2 months on buying a 66plate. stinks inside 2weeks on ruined the New car smell.
Excellent service which included a polite reminder that a service was due in January, arranging the service, being reminded the day before and being taken home and brought back on the day that the service was completed.
I phoned in the afternoon to ask whether the car was ready to be picked up or not. My wife has a cataract problem and I didn't want her to have to drive in the dark. I was told the engineer dealing with my car would ring back to but he didn't.

Very welcoming recepionist, coffee an added bonus, all work carried out to schedule, all in all a very worthwhile visit.
They proactively called me to arrange the appointment and there was availability for when I wanted to make the appointment. Everyone was very friendly, the waiting room was quiet and had wi-fi, which was great as it meant I could continue to work.

Could book online and organise a collection/delivery.It was odd the day before collection I had a call to confirm collection and then again in the afternoon to say too busy and had to cancel!! But still went ahead.

Service and MOT fine but I understand that a software update needed to be applied to my vehicle which seems to have changed all the stations on my radio,is this possible as my preset stations are no longer available ?

Despite arranging a drop off and pick up whilst my car was being worked on. I did not receive the pick up and when I spoke to the centre I was refused a pick up. I ended up having to walk 1.5miles to the centre to collect my car.
Failed my MOT as my reg number was not in correct position.Reason I was upset was I had purchased form new and it was a bmw specialist who pit it on and it had been MOT approved the previous year by you as well.It was done FOC but it was ridiculous

The service was a a time that suited my commitments, it was ready within the time frame stated by the garage. All work I expected to be carried out was and an addition a problem I asked to be looked at was resolved.
I am always confident when leaving my car with the dealer. On this occasion, the car was due for MOT. The MOT was good value for money at under £40 and the car was then valeted. You can't buy that elsewhere.
Everything was great apart from some confusion on the price. Specialist cars had that day sent me an email with a service price for my old car (Same Model) which was much lower than the price quoted for my newer car which I cant understand
I wasn't told that the car wouldn't be ready until 5 o'clock so I spent an hour and a half waiting, until after 4.30.

- Communication not as promised in 2 occasions. I had to call the center to check the status and delivery. Second issue was with mileage put on the vehicle, somehow was 8k,opposed to 10K p.a. requirement. Sales rep does not recall the discussion.
The showroom was smart, well laid out with plenty of space and a great selection of cars. The staff were very friendly, specifically Ashley Baulk who i dealt with. The lad was extremely helpful, thoughtful and a really nice guy, he deserves credit.
