Pretty much as detailed above. Id like to also mention that the guy who dropped me at the station was polite, friendly and spoke highly of the BMW Brand. Good Business. Keep your staff happy and they will clearly sing your praises.
Advice given on required MOT (issue with stone chip on screen) before inspection. 3 yrs end of warranty report unexpected but most welcome.
My car was not ready by the end of the day as was agreed so I had to keep a loan car over the weekend which caused me some issues as it was not suitable for some of the commitments that I had.
Extremely Unprofessional. Bad customer service. Car came back filthy after I was offered a mini valet. I swear it came back worse then it went in. And the was was in almost a month , after being told it would take a week.
Lots of good elements but a few things to improve on.

recent 2018 visits more difficult to get service representative on the phone when making inquiries about progress on car(s). it's been up to 1 week of no info.On the other side the service representative did manage to get contribution for 1 repair

When I expressed my disappointment it was rectified speedily.
I received an email from body shop to say annual inspection of repair was due. I telephoned them to say the car was having its MOT etc the following Friday and they could do it then I put the guarantee form on the passenger seat but was not done
Serviced while I waited as planned, builders working so slight confusion but everything processed as required. Had me listed as Mrs C Cooper not Mr M Cooper? The survey letter is addressed to Mrs C Cooper?

Overall good, especially how quickly I was processed and dropped off at the rail station. It did take a bit longer than I was expecting to pick up, but I was well looked after throughout.
I was given the impression that the car would cleaned and washed as usual .This did not happen
Did not have enough drivers on day my car was due to be picked up and returned. The one who did come had done a 12 hour shift the day before and quit after collecting my car. Someone else returned it but car was dirty.
Service was quick and was completely free due to service plan

Disappointing that a car with hardly 3k miles could have such a catastrophic failure. Having said that, I was then advised a part was being expected from Germany, I pick car as advised & the same problem occurs less than a mile from your showroom!??

No hassle event
I realise the following is not direct service matter, but I am some miles from the dealer involving roads with large potential traffic jams. I try to organise my visit to aviod travelling problems but on occasions the work cannot be completed.
Booking the appointment was easy and got a date that suited me. I was greeted very nicely when I dropped the car and I was informed via telephone on the status and any advisory issues that may want to fix.Late hours for car collection is a big help
Booked in car and told customer assistant of problem. When I arrived day of appointment, I was hen told there was a £99 fee just to even look at a diagnosis, which I wasnt informed about. Told an apology is all that I could get, asked for a manager

I would have given 5/5 had I not had to go back for a refund as I was charged twice for the service plan. However, the refund was handled superbly.
Took quite a while to diagnose the fault with the traction control. Unable at the time to remove CD magazine from CD player which appears to be defective. BMW have offered to try and extract the cassette magazine but means a return trip to Stevenage.
Wayne Clarke, a credit to the group. Friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and keeps you fully informed about what's going on with your car. I wont go anywhere else.

I asked if I could have a phone call by 3.00pm as to whether the car would be ready . I got a message about the tyres but not whether the car was ready --- I phoned in the afternoon and after about 40mins of trying to find out I gave up.
Job completed as agreed and ahead of time
The general service of the car was fine, however on the last 3 occasions I've asked for the squeaky brakes to be rectified and each time was told it had been done. Whilst there has been a slight improvement this is not the case, really not impressed.

Drop off was painless. However, when I came to collect I had to wait a long time. I had two children with me (1 year old and 5 year old), so sitting waiting patiently isnt their thing! Service advisors didnt look busy either.

Car is still faulty and they are sticking with finding the fault. The agent has twice collected the car late in the evening and delivered a loan car. No suggestion that after the first failed attempt at fixing the issue I should drop the car back.
They kept me informed of the progress on the car, arranged a hire car, and delivered the car on time.

Again it all ran very smooth even if the car was late it was all made clear to me and I was very happy with the wait as it was all explained in detail
Overall, very happy. I did however feel that the process was somewhat rushed albeit a busy time and a vehicle tax deadline. Some of the nice touches from previous experience were missing - the reveal, had to ask for a key fob for the spare, etc
Angelo, the senior sales assistant, that I dealt with could'nt have done enough during the whole process. The second time he has taken me through the process and no doubt not the last.

Gary at Specialist Cars in Stevenage provided excellent service both in terms of options on the car and updates pre delivery. This made up for the disappointing service received from Barons in Watford.
The salesman (Darrin Taylor) dealing with my purchase was excellent and couldnt have been more helpful or professional. The only outstanding matter at purchase was the satnav activation which has now been sorted out.
Lee Barker, our sales assistant, couldn't do enough to simplify & streamline this process and basically went overboard to deal with any issues and/or queries that surfaced.
