when I turned up, despite appointment confirmation on phone, it wasn't on the system, but that was dealt with. No option of courtesy car.
I alerted the receptionist to the fact that a yellow warning triangle and parking light failure was flashing up on the screen. Sadly this was not dealt with so the alert us still showing.

This misses out on 'completely satisfied' as the advisor who I was dealing with failed to follow up as promised about the auto gearbox test result on my X5 executed whilst my service was done. (Whether a gearbox oil change was due or not)
5 star treatment as expected
initial visit was fine, but car had to go back in a few days later due to brake issues following brake fluid change whilst in for service. this turned out to be due to a sensor not being reset properly and was extremely inconvenient.
They did not get to the bottom of the fault but were friendly. Tom was a very nice chap.
One difficult problem unresolved
I think the chaps name was Ray and he took time to explain everything and then asked the senior technician to help also on some of the more technical questions I had. Prompt, polite and efficient.
Service carried out satisfactorily, but it turned out that it wasn't needed at that time, but the person taking the booking didn't mention this.
Car was returned fixed and had been valeted inside and out

Wasn't able to diagnose a fault with my vehicle at service that I feel is a safety issue.
Left me waiting far too long
Only slight issue was great difficulty in dropping the car off for a service because of lack of parking spaces. I had to abandon the attempt and return later in the day.

The staff accommodated a late requirement and dealt with it professionally. Due to how busy the service department was, however, I did have to wait for longer than expected.

Bmw emergency services provided me a hire car for 2 days,but bmw Stevenage call me and said that they need to keep my car for 2 days longer and they gone extended my hire car ,2 days pass and I was reviving a phone calls from enterprise to give a car
The service is ?? Ive been to Mercedes and Audi and BMW are far better, they really look after their customers needs
Ray was excellent, but sadly whilst with Stevenage Cars my car sustained damage on the bonnet and was washed without my permission by someone who appears to have used a cloth covered in grit as the car and windscreen are now covered in scratches.

As above , this is the second time my car has had a blown cigarette lighter fuse for which Specialist Cars would like to charge me an hours labour (Over £100) to rectify !! My next service will be at a different dealership !!
The whole experience was 1st class from dropping off to getting the car back.
More detailed report than I have ever had anywhere. Included details of tyre wear, brake pad wear etc

Specialist Cars is the best BMW dealer I have ever used in the 30 years I have driven an owned a BMW.
On this service I would, but on the last service I would not!It took over an hour to pay & collect the car when I was told it was ready for collection!

Waited for car whilst it was being serviced. Staff looked after me well. Customer facilities ideal and comfortable.
The service was extremely slow especially as I was waiting - this doesn't seem to give any priority in the service queue despite having booked on this basis. I was there for around 3 hours for an oil change and had no time for the usual valet.

Timeline for a warranty claim took from August to December with three visits to service. Also, I was not informed by Specialist Hitchin at the time of a previous repair to two of the cars wheels that the warranty would be invalidated as a consequence

The staff that dealt with me was fantastic.
The service identified that the NSF tyre would need replacing in the future, the next day it went flat leaving my wife stranded, I arranged for a replacement and I feel that if the tyre was this critical it should have been addressed at the service
Repair was carried out efficiently and on time
The staff are always very helpful. Getting a lift home and then being picked up when the car was ready makes all the difference. It is also lovely to have the car cleaned in addition to the service.
Sent car to Stevenage twice.On the last visit they stated there was no fault with the car and refused to look at it again under warranty.Phoned BMW they advised me to take it to another dealership who diagnosed the problem in 10 minutes.
AS previous. Some staff need more training in customer service.

Raymond Odonoghue dealt with my service who was professional and better than Stephen James. The only issue I have was the state of my car when it was returned. It was covered in dirty water inside over my door cards and rear cream seats.

Whilst the car was with you, I received a telephone call for an advisory warning on the rear brakes. However, The service paperwork states this as "needs urgent attention".Car was not fully vacuumed/cleaned.Car now has a failed headlight

No issues at all. Findings from the service communicated clearly and effectively through email, video and face to face conversation.
Completed in good time, great range of drinks whilst we wait and the car was immaculate after the free wash and hoover
1st service was not completed and residual work is still required. Specialist Cars shows lack of flexibility and prioritisation when it comes to completing this residual work. I wish to speak with the Service Manager when I return.
Although the service personal were great the fault still remained on my vehicle even though that had it in fr a few days and I have had to re-book

We had arranged for our car to be collected as our other car has recently been stolen. We were informed the day before the service that unfortunately no driver was available. We appreciate that people go off sick etc but it wasn't a lot very helpful
Although the car was dealt with (eventually) I did not enjoy the experience of dealing with the Service Department.I do not think I was treated fairly and I certainly did not feel valued.
I have been using Specialist cars for a number of years as an owner, previously with company cars.Sadly, the excellent service I have received in the past has deteriorated.

when i mentioned to the service assistant that i thought this cost was excessive i was told abruptly that `we don`t work for nothing` which i felt was not only rude but showed BMW in an exceedingly this dealership in a very bad light.
It was my first service at BMW. It wasnt explained that I could have waited for my car or what other options were available
Keep being let down by the service team my car has been in so many times for boot rattle but it never seems to be fixed and I have to just deal with it.

Over 3 hours for oil change service and fitted non BMW parts - wiper blades not genuine BMW replacements, Halfords would have been a lot cheaper and quicker.

Originally poor response from service department who told me the car was covered on BMW warranty and would be picked up by them and sorted. It wasnt. Great difficulty getting a date for service. Once in the workshop, service was good.
Had arranged a loan car. Would have been helpful if car available had been refuelled. Having to locate fuel station when already late for work was not helpful. however very impressed with customer service as Ray was very helpful. Thank you.

The communications priming me my service is due, and those on the day while the car is being serviced are excellent and timely. The complimentary car wash & valet are a big bonus.
Issues dealt with and provided a solution for a replacement car when it couldn't be fixed in a day. Find the wait a bit necessary when collecting the car, especially as there was no one else around.

No one could tell me how much the service would cost until finished. How is this possible? My car wasnt cleaned as promised. Got charged for screen wash even though I had filled it up the day before. Bottle not left in car for me as promised.
My car was ready and waiting outside the service area window, but it took another 20 minutes or so before I was called by reception. The receptionist was however very apologetic for the delay.
Not enough space for me to write up my total satisfaction with my BMW's, E21, E30, E39 and F11. Does BMW understand why us racers love the E30? No car since then is so wicked - why not have a 'wicked mode' in modern BMW's and use an LSD to drift?

MOT not possible due to machine breakdown, and not warned in advance
Booked in service + said the boot switch at the back of the car was not working.This was not repaired and I am asked to bring the car back for 1-2 days.

Service centre are excellent however marked very satisfied because I often receive calls from the sales team about events I am not always called back a a promised when I expanded I am looking to change my car for a smaller model.

After allowing the service dept to keep my car for another day to get a part, the vehicle was returned to me with a rattle coming from the centre console area. The driver who returned the car must have heard it but did not inform the dealership

All round good. It took only a week from paying deposit to collect the new car with my private number plate on.

Apart from Steve, at the sharp end, everyone else seems to have told a string of 'porky pies' about the reason for the delay in delivery. I'm still convinced I have not had an honest answer. Not really the dealer's fault: UK CEO's team screwed up.

Handover and delivery of car was poor - car was not unveiled as previous.Sales person had no idea about my new car (not even the service interval) and she forgot to include my car protection pack, which meant an additional return to the garage
