Mot was not carried out on the day and I had to take it back the next day. This combined with the fact that last time I had to take it back because the oil was not filled up.
They are reliable and helpful and efficient

Not the usual level of customer service, vehicle was returned unwashed which is not the norm.
1. while you wait appointment and you exceeded the quoted time significantly with no warning or apology. 2. condition video was sent to a very old email address not my current one which has been communicated to you
My 5 year body check was due at Specialist cars Stevenage, I was then told I had to take it to Hitchin I refused as I was told to bring it to Stevenage left a message on Paige's phone it was to late to bring it down never ever phoned me back//
the job( windscreen washer blockage)was scheduled for Friday. On Saturday morning was told the job had not been done.3 and a half hours wait later I was presented with a £170 bill and told it was my fault for using the wrong screenwash.Warranty ???

Unexpected increase in cost due to additional work required when key fob was read in. Different to in car service requirements, also was left stranded at dealership as all staff gone and I couldn't get my car back

It took 3 days to fit a passenger door mirror. The delays were caused by having to wait for parts to be delivered on the next day. I appreciate that the problems were unexpected, but it is still very disappointing.
Our tyre pressure was altered (said they were over inflated) which has now resulted in error message showing they are not at correct pressure
Once having agreed the timings needed the process was nearly perfect; however my request for a telephone call in time to catch a train back from Cambridge to Stevenage and hence a car meet time was very last minute, albeit successful in the event
Completely happy with the service. I left the car all day and picked it up the next morning having been told it was ready. I then had to sit in the service reception for 1 1/2 hours. I was not happy to waste that time.

Car was not washed during service. I was advised when I arrived there was a possibility that this may be the case but whilst waiting every single other car came out from service having been washed. It wasn't that busy and I was very disappointed
Steve Tierney in sales took control of my problem and fast tracked it to get my X5 back on the road, as he new I needed it urgently for a busy few days travelling.
There was a mix up with my service package which meant I was charged for something that was covered. However, it was resolved efficiently and professionally by Yousef.
The overall process is fairly streamlined and expectations are clear from the outset. Over and above, people go the extra mile with a balanced demonstration of empathy and professionalism. (This was the case with Stephen James, Enfield as well)
Excellent knowledgeable customer service from Lauren Joyce but "90 min. service" took 3 and a half hours due to workshop equipment failure-but Lauren did keep me informed and apologised for the delay. Sensible price as well.

have a service contract and break fluid change not covered. £101 fro a couple of liters of fluid.

Simple pre booked mot took far too long and wait for car wash was ridiculous. Either get more people or don't offer car wash for simple mot.

My overriding concern for a warranty check was the seat leather condition. it is severely damaged on the drivers seat and I assumed that as the car has only done 11,000 miles it would be covered by the warranty. I am exceedingly careful,
Very poor in recognising that you are a customer.
No complaints but I did get a loan manual vehicle when I drive an automatic. it would have been good to have a choice as I haven't driven manuals for years.
Forgot to stamp & complete the service book despite me asking specifically that this had been done.Collected the book the next day to complete.
It felt as though I was managing the process rather than my service advisor.

Booked car in 2 weeks before mot due dropped car off before 8.30 am asked if they could have it ready by 4pm arrived back at 4pm the car hadn't been moved then had to wait nearly 2 hours for it to be done not best pleased
Went in for a light bulb change despite having the car for only 7 months. Waited 2 hours and 30mins with no update. Only until I started to enquire did I get my vehicle returned. When I questioned why it took so long no one could provide a response.
Disgusting dirty loan car, poor customer service and overall terrible experience.
The pick up/delivery service worked well but I had to phone a few times to find out what was happening as it was taking much longer than expected. I expected to be kept up to date with progress but wasn't and in fact you had the car a week.
Two things they where asked to report on drive door issue door catching rear door no feed back. Also altough free wash and vac i didnt expect the boot so still have sawdust in it on plastic liner where not hovered

Car service was ok. But on returning the car a fault was found and nothing was communicated to me as to what the fault was or if I should be observant.
Would have got 5 stars if hadn't had taken 4hrs for a service, I wouldn't have minded but I was sat waiting in the seating area for the whole duration.
Service at the Stevenage BMW dealership is excellent.
Had my vehicle for a week for a service. Loan car had not been cleaned and was covered in rubbish on the inside.
There was a mistake made when the car was booked in resulting in 2 separate entries being added to the cars service record (on different dates) for the same service. This remains despite returning the car and people told it had been fixed.

I had to challenge for a fair price. When I came to pay the original higher price was still on the system.
Being relatively high mileage, I expect components to wear out. Using a main dealer, I expect to pay more for remedial work. Repairs were made efficiently. I was kept updated on progress.
We have now got our second motability vehicle through Gary at Stevenage who is brilliant, but for services and the sagas we have each time, the waiting around when told it will be ready, so bad we wont get bmw for our next car because of service dept
I was called at about 4pm & told my car would be ready at 5pm. I arrived promptly & was told that the repair had been done but it hadn't been valeted so if I waited 30 minutes the valet would be done. Over an hour later I finally got the car back.

Same reason as above. The receptionist was friendly, efficient and helpful. The service advisor was also the same. The entire process was pleasant and pain-free!

I was called once with a different price then called again with another price it was very disorganised and I felt messed about

My car was kept in overnight and I waited until after lunch to see if the car was ready for me to collect. I was told that it had been ready since the morning but noone had contacted me to let me know.
I had to walk to collect the so called courtesy car and then was told that not only was it not an automatic ,which I had been promised , but I was to have a £600 excess, or pay £10 per day for 10 days to save me from the £600 excess .MAGIC !
Host was excellent throughout, service was carried out as required AND also carried out a warranty seal that was picked up on check.

I would have been satisfied if i didn't have to take the car back twice for the same problem with the Tyre Pressure monitor despite explaining it on 2 occasions

This was a routine change to winter wheels. It was meant to take an hour and a half and it took about two and a half! I had to chase after an hour because I could still see my car in the car park. I was told that the paperwork had been lost.

car serviced - mentioned coolant level warning coming on - no fault found - light on again day after service - took car back - still no fault found - same issue day after - called bmw, told it was fully booked for 2 weeks and to call bmw assist
Had vehicle serviced on fixed price, but on collection extra had been done even though I had checked when dropped off what was being done. Vehicle was requested to be ready from 4pm but didn't start working on it until 3.30pm so I had 2 hour delay
The convenience of the car being collected and returned is very important to me
A week after I put the car in for service you sent me an email saying my MOT was due... Surely that could have been done at the same time... And you topped my car with adblu without asking first.
Service department always keep me updated. They also arranged to collect my car and return it when service completed.
All fine apart from the car being returned with Tyre pressure incorrect warning being shown. I would have expected the tyre pressures to have been checked during the service

Overall, a good experience with swapping my wheels to winter wheels. I did have to ring to remind them to put new tyres on the rear wheels, and it can be hard to get through to the service department directly.
Quite difficult to arrange initially. No call back on one occasion. Experience was good thereafter although took 30mins longer than anticipated.
The service took 45 mins and I was waiting for 3 hours. It was still in the car park 30 mins after I arrived. Booked in for that time. Then I suppose it was waiting for a wash etc but it was a long frustrating wait. I'd been told two hours on booking
My appointment had been made 2 weeks prior, giving my 2 weeks to my MOT, then it was cancelled the day before it was due. Another was made but for the day of my MOT / TAX renew date which could have caused problems should it have failed..
Had to book in via BMW assist to avoid 1 month wait & still took a week to finally look at & return the car. Car still not 100% right.
I had conflicting answers for the same question from two different service advisers. Car feels like in requires further work.
Good service but BMW do take so long to finish the work, was told the car would be ready in a hour and half took over 2 hours also the lady that dealt with me was at lunch, I had to wait for her to come back shocked no one else could deal with it.
This service garage is incredibly difficult to contact, no idea when the car will be ready and long waiting times. Information given is limited and no sense of feeling that you have all the information. This is not unique to this visit.
I was largely satisfied, however, I had to reinflate my tyres to the recommended level after the tyre pressure was reduced during the service.
Again, I was aware my MOT was due, Paul informed us of this and managed to get it booked it and carried out there and then. We couldn't believe the customer service Paul provided.
All staff we came into contact with were professional and helpful. Able to answer all our questions and kept us up to date with the status of the new car. Our sales contact Lee Barker was superb.

I was double charged. The after service was terrible. The staff rude and ineffective and despite bringing my car in 3 times to havea simple light fixed the part was not ordered. Shockingly bad!
Specialist Cars do not have a good customer care attitude when it comes to service side of the business. I used to visit them in Tring (nearer to my office) but I they are not much better either. After sales is sometimes better at Ford

Poor Service rang back 2 days later after i was told someone would call me back, could not decide on pricing of service until car was picked up was told one thing and charged another , car was not ready on time.
You don't get the chance to speak to a technician about any issues on arrival, and feed back on a hand-brake query at collection was vague and there was no report on the paperwork.
Service from staff was excellent.
The car was delivered but not cleaned completely. It was a previous issue which hadn't been rectified. Further, the tyres were over inflated. This resulted in myself contacting BMW Emergency to rectify as this was a clear error. I am concerned.
Terrible service .... no one answers the phone when trying to get an update on vehicle. I have also had issues post the service with the car

As per comments above. The only thing I think which could be enhanced is probably a line by line walk through (on paper) of what you don't get standard vs non standard in the car. Eg I assumed I would get 360 parking cameras but I didn't.

Front number plate was installed partially obscuring the radar sensor causing check control messages to be raised repeatedly. Had to bring the car back to Specialist Cards for the number plate to be fitted correctly.
