they failed to sort out the problem with my boot lidit doesn't close sometimes
Very good service-kept up to date with progress, customer service from someone who really seemed interested and not too horribly expensive. Also got the car back much more quickly than expected.
Only went for a MOT and therefore waited; however it took almost four hours (considerably longer than previously) and car wasn't washed due to queue caused by only one wash point available. Not good!

Work started and completed on time. In addition Kerry was particularly helpful with some additional knowledge on the computer controls I was unaware of . The mechanic, Neil I think, also went out of his way to explain his extra checks
The team are fantastic from the moment you drop your car off Barry the driver supervisor always remembers who I am/what I drive which makes me feel welcome and Ada the new service advisor is great despite starting her new job 2 weeks ago.

They were able to supply me a replacement wheel locking nut (which it would appear was missing from when delivered from new), then they were able to fit new tyres the next day so I was able to go away on holiday worry free

it was a first service, so not too much needed doing. the car was serviced and valeted and returned on time.
I waited 45 minutes just to drop off my car and be given a loan car. The loan car was supposed to be a BMW but was a mini which I was not happy about at all, especially as the guy before me had an X1. The service guy didn't try to find an alternative

Ian and whole team did an excellent job, great setting of expectation, great work done and to cap it all money back from my old catalytic converter.
Would have been higher but for a disappointingly dismissive attitude to a dashboard rattle issue on certain road surfaces which "couldn't be found" despite existing before & after service.

I was told my car was ready to collect but had to wait 40 minutes in reception before I was dealt with - I was not the only customer left sitting around. The person who finally dealt with me did apologise for the delay and was friendly/profession.

My car was due for front brake pads so I booked it in but in the meantime it became due for a major oil change and inspection service. On booking my car in I mentioned this to the service support manager and all service was was carried out as well.
Everything was made easy
Potentially losing a car and thinking about the financial implications of unexpectedly needing to fund a new one was a huge emotional ****. The service team at Stevenage really understood that and accordingly treated me with care and attention.

Booked whilst wait service, wasnt registered as such, told would not have car until next day. Eventually, service was done, but had to wait a while.
There was a long wait to book a service and then it didn't happen on the actual day booked but the day after. I also had to leave the car overnight at very short notice.
As a matter of principle I've stuck to authorised dealers to maintain our cars and Specialist Cars team has been fantastic throughout my association with them. Wayne, Kerry, Ian, the list goes on - all fantastic people, pay individual attention
I was not told of the recall until I took the car in to have a tyre replaced because of a puncture. In consequence I had to make a further booking.
I booked 4/7 to get an warning light issue looked at. When I visited was told service due soon & re-booked for 19/7. Service was inconclusive and had to return again on 1/8. Also, computer not reset to show service completed.
The actual service was performed completely satisfactorily.
Technical work was excellent but some delays in customer service.

I always receive great service. I am always treated well & kept informed.
I was particularly impressed with Raymond ODonoghues level of care If the car, he met the requests I had without any trouble. No courtesy car available for nearly a month though, thats not good enough, I had to go without a car for three days.
Booked via the phone but not expected on the day - BMW Stevenage had the booking for two days later!
My car was not ready by the end of the day as was agreed so I had to keep a loan car over the weekend which caused me some issues as it was not suitable for some of the commitments that I had.
Advice given on required MOT (issue with stone chip on screen) before inspection. 3 yrs end of warranty report unexpected but most welcome.
Pretty much as detailed above. Id like to also mention that the guy who dropped me at the station was polite, friendly and spoke highly of the BMW Brand. Good Business. Keep your staff happy and they will clearly sing your praises.
Lots of good elements but a few things to improve on.
Extremely Unprofessional. Bad customer service. Car came back filthy after I was offered a mini valet. I swear it came back worse then it went in. And the was was in almost a month , after being told it would take a week.

Had to call several times as my calls were not answered. Left messages and was promised a call back which never happened.
Easy to book a service by phone. Quite tricky to do it online though.
As mentioned Steve at specialistcars was amazing, took us through the complete process and gave us the best deal possible and gave all what was promised during delivery.
